-pats- Deep breaths Dreamer, you'll get through them one way or another. Remember, it's okay if you don't do well on them as long as you've done well for the overall semester. I should know, I didn't exactly study for my finals last time... turns out studying can help you, who knew?

I was completely freaking out over my speech outline for today yesterday and will be again tomorrow. I have to redo pretty much the whole speech and haven't worked on it anymore today. Needless to say I'll be freaking out with you tomorrow because I am a procrastinator! So please carry on and vent. It's good to get it out.  Smiley

Thanks for the support. Studding is good. but i just just want to give up at this point. Let it be over.

I actually love speeches, there easier to BS. after all you just have to sound confident and know what your talking about... outlines suck though, I don't like sticking to a script. I like making things up as i go... lol. Probably not the best thing to do.

Good luck though!

Hey Guys, what do you think about people's families getting paid for their last seconds of life? Like for the trauma they go through? Is it reasonable? Or not? Why?

This is going to help me with my essay tomorrow. So help a girl out, give me you're opinions!

Paid for their last seconds of life?  I'm not sure what you mean.  Who gets paid- the family, the person dying?  Why would money be exchanged, what is it for?  No matter what- it sounds questionable.

Yeah, there's this essay written by some chick named Paula Speck or something like that called "Six Seconds" and people died in a plane crash and they were suing the company to give their children money, and how much should the children get. So this lawyer chick or whatever she was had to figure that out. Then the rest of it was the morals behind putting a price on death. Or gaining off of their loss or whatever.

I figured it out as i went. I think i did pretty good.

Only one more final to go.

Well good luck with your final exam. My exams don't start until May 18, which seems far away now, but they'll be here before long, so I will be feeling your pain soon enough...

Good luck!  Smiley

lol, yeah, I wouldn't wish finals on like, the worst person in the world.

Actually, i think they should make people in prison study all the time. Then they'd be smart enough to get jobs if they were to ever get out. lol.
